Reporting to the Special Programs Execution Manager, the Program Manager will lead AOX’s partnership with customers in commercial ventures, the U.S. defense prime and second-tier contractors. Our ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical expertise and collaborative people skills with the proven ability experience to work within a technically dynamic, high-growth, fast-paced and strategically important business unit for NG Space Systems.

Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs

Coordinates the preparation of proposals, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract

Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance

Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas

Controls expenditures within limitation of project budget

Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and five years of experience in project/task management of technical activities

Two years’ experience in project/task management

Strong critical thinking and logical reasoning skills with the ability to solve issues and predict potential programmatic and technical risks

Operate independently with limited supervision and feedback, and the ability to establish a solid working relationship with technical staff, peers, and customers in the business area

Ability to travel up to 10%

Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance with SCI access

Master’s degree and/or PhD in a STEM discipline

Five years of experience in project/task management with a Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline

Experience with Agile Project Management and/or Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)

PMP certification

Active Top Secret security clearance

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
