RN - Registered Nurse - ICU - Neurology (Weekend Position)

Registered Nurse - ICU Float Pool
Location: Portland, Maine
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM or 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM shifts, with 75% weekends required.
Job Description: We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our ICU Float Pool. The position requires flexibility as nurses will float between various ICU units including Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, and CTICU, based on healthcare provider (HCP) experience. The role involves caring for basic ICU patients, including those who are sedated, intubated, and on pressors, while maintaining excellent patient care standards.
Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients across various units.
Manage patient care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Be adaptable to different assignments and patient needs within the float pool.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Must have 3 years of ICU nursing experience.
Current RN license valid in the state of Maine.
