This position is responsible for transporting patients to and from their bed and other areas such as therapy, surgery, or radiology. Other responsibilities include retrieving medical records, lab results, supplies and medications. This position is not responsible for providing care to patients.

Upon selection, candidates must complete all required pre-employment requirements, including reference checks, a background check, drug screening, and required immunizations.
Handles items such as IV bags, oxygen masks, oxygen tanks, urine drainage bags, blood bags, and medical monitoring devices that may be attached to the patient during transport.
Transports expired patients to the morgue by stretcher.
Picks up and delivers routine and STAT laboratory specimens, blood, and medical items.
High School diploma, or equivalency.

Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system. Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation.
