Registered Nurse Weekend Emergency Department Night Shift

Job Title: RN / PCULocation: 2033 West 151st Street Olathe, KS 66061Bill Rate: $90 before admin feeStart Date: 9/28Scheduled Details: 12hr Nights; 1900-0730 x3 shifts per weekExperience Requirements2 years of recent Critical Care/ICU or Emergency Department experience (looking for candidates with strong critical thinking skills), Experience with BiPAP, chest tubes, PICC lines, and drawing their own labs, Comfortable without a vascular access team, calling on own consults, and conducting own codes, Open-heart Day 2 or Day 3 experience with pacer wires (patient ratios are 3:1 or 4:1 tops)License/Certification RequirementsKS RN or Compact RN License along with BLS, ACLS, & NIHFloating RequirementsWill be expected to float to ICU and all inpatient units- Med/surge, Med/tele, Acute/tele, and ED with prior experienceWeekend RequirementsEvery Other Weekend RequiredOn-Call RequirementsNoneHoliday RequirementBased on unit needs, travelers must work one holiday from each group: Thanksgiving Day or Black Friday | Christmas Eve or Day | New Year's Eve or DayOrientation RequirementsWill attend the first 2 days of orientation at the KUKC Campus, on day 3 THP will attend Olathe orientation and Director of Nursing training, Day 4 Olathe Director of Nursing training, Day 5 THP will attend virtual Epic trainingCreds Due: Monday 1 week prior to Monday start | Expectations: CBC, DS, and lab work must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance.Notes: TUKHS is a nicotine-free facility | 8 hours non-billable orientation | Current EMR is EPIC | Bi-weekly pay period | Client is allowed the cancellation of one shift per 2-week pay period at no cost to the client and no pay to the employee. Will provide a minimum 2-hour notice via Smart Square.
