Neurological Unit - Registered Nurse (RN) Position Overview
Exciting opportunity to work on a specialized neurological unit
Excellent environment to learn about various neurological diseases while utilizing nursing and critical thinking skills
Fast-paced unit caring for patients with stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain Barré Syndrome, and more
Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center
Only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in the region
Works with a specialty team to evaluate, diagnose, and treat seizures using state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology
Collaborative multidisciplinary team that values nurses' skills, talents, and compassion
Schedule

• 3x12-hour shifts
• Rotating Day/Evening/Night shifts
• Blocked Weekends (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
• Holidays, On-Call, Callback, and Charge duties per unit needs
• 48 hours per week billed at regular time (rotational shift)

Required Qualifications
RN License - New York State license only accepted at this time
Minimum two (2) years of experience
Telemetry experience required
BLS certification - American Heart Association only
NIHSS certification
