The Custodial Worker 1 position with the Department of Transportation offers a chance to help keep facilities clean, safe, and welcoming. This position helps maintain a clean, safe, and orderly facility for employees and the public. The work involves daily cleaning tasks, outdoor upkeep, and minor repair activities across the building and grounds. As a Custodial Worker 1, you will perform the following duties:

Facility Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning of floors, windows, furniture, fixtures, and restrooms
Outdoor Maintenance: Maintain entrances, clear walkways, mow grass, and manage outdoor areas
Waste Disposal: Dispose of trash and building waste in the correct manner
Complete basic repairs to plumbing, electrical systems, and building structures
Maintain a professional and respectful attitude toward the traveling public
Full-time employment
Work days and shifts may change based on an irregular schedule
Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
