Cardiac Stepdown Unit
Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
Active RN license in good standing
At least 1 year of recent cardiac, stepdown, telemetry, progressive care, or medical-surgical nursing experience
Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring, post-procedure recovery, and acute care nursing
Experience with medication titration, IV therapy, and infusion management
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced hospital environment
Comfort supporting adult and older adult patient populations
Prior travel nursing experience is a plus, but not required
Assess and reassess patients using the nursing process to guide individualized care
Provide care for patients before and after CABG and interventional cardiac procedures
Assist with procedures and therapies including ACT testing, sedation, pain management, chest tube care, and central line support
Deliver safe, accurate IV therapy, infusion therapy, and nutritional support such as TPN/PPN
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure excellent outcomes and a smooth patient recovery
