About the Role As a Registered Nurse (RN) with our organization, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to our residents, as well as supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. You will work closely with your assigned nursing staff, as well as support personnel, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants
Complete and file required recordkeeping forms/charts upon the resident’s admission, transfer, and/or discharge
Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician
Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel and other departments within the facility
Qualifications Registered Nurse with a current unencumbered state license
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities
Physical Demands Be able to move intermittently throughout the workday
Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility
