Qualifications

Active Illinois RN license (Registered Nurse)

Experience as a School Nurse or specialized diabetes management training preferred

Comfortable working 15-20 hours per week throughout the school year

Responsibilities

Oversee insulin administration, glucose monitoring, and management per Diabetes Medical Management Plans

Provide compassionate support to K-8th grade students with diabetes

Train and guide school staff in diabetes care protocols

Maintain clear, confidential health records and communication with families
