Home Health/CNA Ratios: 6 visits/day Years of experience REQ: 1 First-timers accepted: No Weekend REQ: Monday-Friday, no weekends, holidays or call. Certs REQ: BLS, State license Skills REQ: Home Healthcare, Assist with ambulation, Assist with feeding patient, Assist with turning and repositioning, Change linens (occupied, unoccupied), Complete Bed bath, Perineal care male/female, Shave patient, Shower assistance, Skin care, Bedpan / urinal, Bedside commode, Transfer belt, Wheelchair, Cleaning of equipment, Donning and removing PPE, Isolation Precautions, Obtain Blood pressure, including orthostatic, Obtain patient Respirations, Obtain pulse (radial), Obtain Temperature (oral, rectal, axillary, Tympanic), Routine Catheter Care (Indwelling and External Catheters), Turning and positioning patient, Abnormal Vital sign parameters (Adult and Pedi), Lifting and pulling proper body mechanics, Safe patient transfers, Bathing/hygiene, Reporting change in patient condition, Turning /repositioning, Is on-call REQ? No Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Locals accepted: Yes What is the local radius rule? 40-80 miles. Mileage reimbursed? Mileage will be reimbursed @ $0.55/mile. Pending License accepted: No RTO Restrictions: 7 days Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. The cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the Contractor Personnel is assigned Special Requirements: Required skills; previous home care experience, trouble shooting skills, communications skills to coordinate patient care and Team collaboration. Knowledge, organizational skills, efficiency, time management skills and flexibility. Do clinicians typically work at the same homes? Yes, clinicians are assigned to a POD which consists of a group of zip codes and a multidisciplinary Team to manage the patients, however if needed they will assist in other PODs to provide patient care. What is the mile radius that clinicians are expected to cover? It varies, but the range is roughly 40 – 80 miles starting with the first patient and ending with the last patient.
