1st Shift CNC Operator

One of the greatest challenges new engineers face is truly understanding a production environment and how things work on the manufacturing floor. Learn about productivity, quality control, real-world engineering, and precision machining as they happen in real-time.
We are looking for a detailed and motivated CNC Operator to join our 1st shift team in North Billerica, MA . In this role, you will load parts into CNC machines, cycle the equipment, and monitor operations to detect malfunctions, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. This position runs production lots, communicates closely with team members regarding production runs, and maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
First Shift | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM | Monday to Thursday

Clear pathways to advance into engineering, quality, or specialized machining roles within a stable, long-running facility.
Load and unload casting components into CNC production machinery.
Use basic precision measuring equipment to inspect machined parts.
Maintain established production rates and workflow.
Detect and promptly report defective materials, machine variances, or questionable conditions to the shift supervisor.
Perform continuous quality inspections of machined products and maintain accurate inspection logs.
Adhere strictly to all safety rules and policies set forth by OSHA guidelines and facility procedures.
Perform other production and housekeeping duties as assigned.
Quality Focus: Produces results that meet or exceed set standards. Monitors work to meet strict quality criteria, demonstrating a high level of care, thoroughness, and accuracy.
Must be able to regularly remain in a stationary position at a designated work station on the production floor.
Frequently moves production parts and materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
