Part-Time Cytotechnologist

Under the direction of the Pathology Department Manager, performs technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality, utilizing efficient and safe processes. Examines slide under microscope to identify abnormalities in cell structure.
Corporate Compliance Accountability: Consistently supports the precepts of Corporate compliance and Principles of Responsibility by maintaining confidentiality, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with integrity, reporting observed fraud and abuse and complying with applicable state, federal and local laws and program policies and procedures.
Minimum 18 months experience as a Cytotechnologist I

BS degree in science or other field.

License, Certification, Registration

~ Cytotechnologist License (California)

The demonstrated ability to perform, under minimal supervision, all cytology procedures including staining and screening, in accordance with specifications set by the department head.
Ability to accurately describe cytologic conditions and provide appropriate differential diagnoses in writing.
Must be willing to work in a Labor Management Partnership environment.
