Job Summary

Corewell Health Interventional Pain offers an excellent full‑time opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider. As an important member of the Interventional Pain team, you will diagnose and treat medically complex patients. The ideal candidate will be passionate about this patient population.

Key Details

All outpatient, No nights, No weekends, No call

4–10 hour shifts possible

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with physicians to provide comprehensive care to new and established patients.

Review patient records, messages, diagnostic results, and history to assess current health status and develop proper treatment plans.

Communicate and collaborate with the care team to effectively communicate results, treatment plans, and give guidance to patients and their caregivers.

Communicate with providers from other specialties to collaborate patient care.

Document patient records and EHR.

Complete billable services such as E‑Visits.

Participate in process improvement initiatives for the Inboxology program.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications – Nurse Practitioner

Required Master’s Degree. Nurse Practitioners who obtained education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a master’s, post‑master’s or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.

3 years of current, relevant clinical experience.

Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a Nurse Practitioner.

LIC‑Nurse Practitioner (NP) – State of Michigan.

Certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS).

Certificate of Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).

Certificate of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Qualifications – Physician Assistant

Required Master’s Degree. Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program.

LIC‑Physician Assistant – State of Michigan.

Certified PA‑C – NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS).

Certificate of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Certificate of Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
