Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures

Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent

Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients

Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia

Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed

Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Compensation

Salary: $537K

Sign on Incentive: $30K

Shift & Schedule

2 weeks on, 1 week off position 18 weeks of 7a-5p shift or 17.5 weeks of call and 17.5 weeks of day shift

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited institution

Completion of Anesthesiology Residency

Board Eligible or Board Certified

Current medical licensure

ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)

Currently licensed as a physician in Mississippi Board Certification or actively board eligible by the American Board of Anesthesia
