Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor II to join our team in Albany NY

Work Schedule: Tuesday – Friday 4:30 pm – 1:00 am and Saturdays 3:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems
Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
Do spinning/freezing/splitting and other special services as needed based on client

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
~1 year or more experience (lab, accessioning, data entry, manufacturing or warehouse

1year or more of medical or patient facing healthcare experience

Strong data entry and organizational skills
Experience with MS Office

The position, Specimen Processing Specialist, will be responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment located onsite with one of our client offices.

**Pay Range: $17.75 - $19.00 per hour
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data
