Client Service Representative

VCA Care Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Client Service Representative with previous veterinary experience to join our fun and hardworking team.

The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality customer service and patient care.

In this position you will be supporting our Doctors and Clients by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.

We also value honest and direct communication between team members, management and clients. We are community centered, we honor the client/patient relationship and we respect people and pets. We are looking for a smiling face with compassionate and exceptional client service skills.

Customer service functions including: greeting visitors, answering telephones, and getting to know our clients and their pets.

Answering questions regarding products and services, educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., Managing electronic medical records, reports and correspondence.

At least one year of proven past experience helping customers in a veterinary hospital setting.

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.

Willingness to work week day’s with a flexible schedule.

The ability to lift up to 40lbs and perform general hospital cleaning, as well as be exposed to hazards associated with pets such as allergies, contagious diseases, noises, odors, bites, scratches, and animal waste.

The pay range for this position is $18 to $20 per hour.
