E-Commerce Sales - eCommerce Salesperson

Position Summary Performs the daily operations of Gordon Food Service Stores including sales, customer service, stocking, inventory management, product preparation, operating a cash register, and maintaining store conditions. Promotes and sells store programs such as loyalty, Menu Wizard, eCommerce, Express Ordering, and Gift Cards to increase customer relations and retention.
Essential Functions Provide superior customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, suggestive selling, showing products, engaging in conversation, answering the telephone, and assisting with special requests and express orders.
Use equipment to prepare and package products for sale, such as juice, sliced deli meat, and produce.
Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently at the point of sale, ensuring security of assets (cash, checks, merchandise).
Receive and merchandise products, ensuring proper rotation and quality, execute end‑cap and planogram displays, and organize stock in freezer, cooler, backroom, and shelf areas.
Encourage customers to place express orders and promote store products, services, and loyalty programs.
Support and participate in sales activities such as marketing initiatives, contests, and in‑store promotions.
Print signs and shelf tags, verify accuracy, and post appropriately.
Maintain the facility through general maintenance and cleaning activities.
Safely operate power equipment, including slicing equipment, tow motors, and forklift where applicable.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Equipment & Tools Cash register, RF gun, computer, box cutter, step ladder, stocking cart, slicer, general food‑prep equipment.
Forklift, pallet jack, floor machine, general cleaning materials.
Education & Minimum Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 0-2 years full‑time related retail experience preferred.
