Previous experience in acute care settings preferred.
Willingness to work weekends (2-3 weekend days per month on average).
This position involves working as a Physical Therapist in an acute care environment.
The therapist will mainly be assigned to the MedSurg unit but may float to ICU, ED, and ASU as needed.
The therapist can expect to manage a daily patient census of approximately 30 patients, with around 8 visits per day.
Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics.
Equipment used mainly consists of front-wheeled walkers, 4-wheeled walkers, canes, crutches, and various lifting devices.
Candidates must commit to working three of five major holidays during the contract period.
Travelers may float between facilities as necessary, and refusal to float may impact guaranteed hours.
