Registered Nurse Travel Job Telemetry Shift Nights

Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical
Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite
Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a patient ratio of 1:6–7, covering populations that include post-surgical, orthopedic, pneumonia, dialysis, palliative care, hospice, end-of-life, and low-volume inpatient chemotherapy patients
Monitor and manage patients on remote telemetry (no bedside monitors on unit; monitoring performed remotely by monitor technicians)
Support and coordinate care for patients on Bipap, CPAP, and High Flow oxygen, all managed in collaboration with Respiratory Therapy
Adhere to unit infection control protocols, including the ability to be assigned to both designated clean and isolation patient cohorts within the same shift
Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling (Saturday/Sunday) and two required Fridays per schedule block, integrating into the permanent staff holiday rotation
Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum one year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
Ability to work night shifts, every-other-weekend, and required Friday shifts per schedule
Experience with post-surgical and orthopedic patient populations
Familiarity with palliative, hospice, or end-of-life care settings
Experience working in units utilizing remote telemetry monitoring
Work in an all-private-bed unit environment with self-scheduling and blocked schedule flexibility, provided unit needs are met
Floating is limited to other Medical Surgical units only, allowing you to build consistency and familiarity within a focused care setting
