Prep Cook - Same Day Pay

About the Position

Cook role at Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar in South Burlington, VT. This fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment values communication, teamwork, and quality. A great candidate must be at least 18 years old and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Cook menu items, maintain kitchen cleanliness, adhere to food safety standards, assist with prep and inventory, and support the kitchen crew in a high‑volume setting.

Qualifications

Minimum age 18. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work in a hot and damp environment for up to four hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and use small tools. Follow safety protocols, including hand washing, disinfection, protective coverings, and mask requirements.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly wages $17.00–$25.00 plus tips (tip‑out)
