Responsible for design, development, evaluation, analysis, selecting and ordering equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products and systems. Oversees and manages the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment/processes/systems. Keeps current on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades and safety issues. Studies equipment performance and reliability. Provides expert technical support to operations and other disciplines within engineering organization. Works on highly technical problems of diverse and complex scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Works under limited supervision.
Process Engineer
Manage approved engineering projects
Supports specific production areas with respect to throughput, scrap, quality, ergonomics, staffing and flexibility
Develop, implement and manage manufacturing process improvements
Provide advanced technical support to maintenance and operations

Education and/or Experience: BS degree or equivalent experience in engineering. 7 - 10+ years engineering experience working in a manufacturing environment. 5+ years of direct project management experience. Language Skills: College level written and verbal English skills
Advanced Root cause and abstract problem solving, visualization and quality tools
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office and project management software
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Lean, Six Sigma or project management certificates are desirable
Strong planning, analytical, assertive, and personal interaction skills

Extensive understanding of manufacturing processes, procedures/operations and product design
Applicable to all above engineering disciplines:
Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis
Travel Required: Limited
This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
