As a Concrete Dispatcher, you are responsible to safely assign equipment and personnel for completion of duties or deliveries to ensure on time and efficient use of resources by dispatching trucks and personnel in a timely manner to ensure the targeted service level and cost.

Answers phone to take/alter customer's order and complete all required information. Ensure the customer understands all relevant company policies.

Obtains all pertinent information from customer for accurate and efficient delivery process and verify the information back to customer.

Inform fellow dispatch personnel of special instructions and give adequate notice to ensure proper materials are available.

Superior customer service skills, understanding of concrete properties and mix designs, knowledge of applicable government and industry regulations.

Ability to operate office machines and intermediate level computer skills.

ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous/respectful of others.

Ensure OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance.

General education, grammar and arithmetic, GED or high school diploma or equivalent.

One year of telephone service or order taking in a business environment.

Concrete and Aggregate product training and dispatch experience preferred.
