Psychiatrist

The Psychiatrist (MD/DO) will provide psychiatric services including medication evaluations and follow up medication management. Identify potential physical health problems impacting the mental health of consumers, and order and monitor appropriate laboratory tests. Consult and collaborate to/with PCPs and other healthcare providers in the overall health management of consumers. Adult MD/DO prescribers will work with clients who have broad range of diagnoses, complexity, background, and work with several sub specialized teams of therapists, case managers and other team members. Some of the core teams you will work with will include Adult Outpatient Services, Meds Only, Commercial Services, Collaborative Care, Substance Use Outpatient Services, and the Intensive team for clients on certification, court ordered meds, and others with severe and persistent mental illness.

Jefferson Center pay is based on various factors including education level, licensure level, and years of relative experience. The salary range above is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Jefferson Center for Mental Health
