Registered Nurse Weekend Emergency Department Night Shift

Night Shift: 4x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15); Weekend shifts required every other week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The ideal candidate will possess Level I or II Trauma experience and be adept at managing a variety of patient conditions across different age groups from infants to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

Provide emergency care and assessments for patients in the ER.

Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and perform phlebotomy.

Carry out proper cardiac monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias.

Perform trauma assessments and interventions, including procedural sedation.

Engage in collaborative care with interdisciplinary teams.

Float between facilities as necessary within the service line.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in an emergency department.

Current certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC.

Level I or II Trauma experience is required; Pediatric Emergency Department experience preferred.

Experience in a Magnet and teaching hospital setting is preferred.

Must possess valid RN licensure in the state of Ohio or have a pending OH license and valid MI license.
