Operating Room Rn
The Operating Room RN is responsible for providing specialized perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role requires a highly skilled, adaptable nurse capable of managing complex cases within a fast-paced surgical environment.
Coordinate and deliver comprehensive preoperative and postoperative patient care.
Administer anesthesia, monitor patient vital signs, and respond to intraoperative needs.
Ensure sterile techniques and adherence to surgical protocols to prevent infections.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technicians to facilitate efficient procedures.
Document all patient care activities accurately and promptly in compliance with hospital policies.
Maintain compliance with licensing, safety standards, and hospital regulations.
Possess a minimum of 3 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience.
Hold an active RN license in Georgia or a Compact State license.
Demonstrate proficiency in neurology, transplant, general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, and related specialties.
Be fully compliant with hospital orientation and licensing requirements prior to start date.
