Travel Respiratory Therapist – Nights

Position: Respiratory Therapist (Travel) – 13‑week contract. Assigned to Reston, VA 20190. Night shift from 19:00 to 07:00. 3 shifts per week (36 scheduled hours per week). Start: 08/03/2026, End: 11/07/2026.

Weekly Pay: $1546 - $1746

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Travel Respiratory Therapist for a challenging role in a fast‑paced environment. The ideal candidate will provide respiratory care to a diverse patient population, including neonatal care in the NICU. You will work with modern equipment and a supportive team committed to high‑quality patient care.

Responsibilities

Perform respiratory therapy procedures for patients in critical care and NICU settings.

Manage ventilator settings and monitor respiratory status.

Administer aerosol therapies, high‑flow oxygen, and BiPAP/CPAP treatments.

Conduct arterial punctures and assist with A‑line placements.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience as a Respiratory Therapist.

NICU experience strongly preferred.

Must hold a valid state license in Virginia, RRT preferred (CRT accepted).

Current certifications in ACLS, NRP, and PALS.
