Schedule: 1st and 3rd shift 12 hours rotating schedule

responsible for setting up, adjusting, operating, and maintaining a variety of bindery and finishing equipment used to convert printed materials into completed products such as books, catalogs, manuals, directories, and magazines.
This opportunity is based on a Machine Operator career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.
Job Duties Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain bindery and finishing equipment.
Operate folders, cutters, collators, stitchers, drills, binding, and gluing machines.
Make machine adjustments to ensure product quality and production efficiency.
Read and interpret work orders, job specifications, and production schedules.
Coordinate multiple machine stations throughout the production process.
Monitor product quality, productivity, and production output.
Lead and direct production crew members as needed.
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on bindery equipment.
Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
Education Requirements High school diploma required.
Ability to read and interpret work orders, job specifications, and production instructions.
Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude required.
Experience Requirements Previous experience operating bindery, printing, finishing, or manufacturing equipment preferred.
Knowledge of bindery machinery, including folders, cutters, collators, stitchers, drills, perfect binders, and gluing equipment.
Ability to set up, adjust, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment.
Knowledge of paper stocks, printing materials, and finishing processes.
Leadership experience directing or assisting production crews is a plus.
Strong attention to quality, productivity, and workplace safety.
Physical Capabilities Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a 12-hour shift.
Frequently use hands and arms to operate machinery and handling equipment.
Ability to work safely around moving mechanical equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong visual ability to inspect product quality and monitor machine performance.
