As demand for healthcare services continues to grow across many Central Texas communities, this Floater Optometrist role offers the opportunity to serve a variety of patient populations, support both growing suburban and small-town communities, and build a meaningful optometry career while experiencing the variety, connection, and lifestyle that make Central Texas a great place to live and work.

You’ll partner with a dedicated team of 20 eye care professionals to help patients achieve their best vision, caring for up to 22 patients each day. In this role, you’ll perform comprehensive eye exams, support surgical co-management, diagnose and help treat ocular disease, prescribe and dispense corrective lenses, respond to eye emergencies, and educate patients on healthy vision using advanced diagnostic technology. This opportunity offers up to 40 hours per week based on location needs, with weekday shifts typically scheduled Monday through Friday for eight hours per day and Saturday shifts generally scheduled for six hours.
