Physiatrist Needed Part-time (Physician )

The Physical Therapist (PT) provides evidence-based physical therapy services to patients across the lifespan, focusing on restoring functions, improving mobility, relieving pain, and preventing disability. The PT works with primary care providers, specialists, and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care in an outpatient community health setting. The PT is compassionate, adaptable, and committed to serving diverse and medically underserved populations.
This is an exempt, part-time opportunity (21 paid hours per week).

Provide therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, gait training, and patient education
Collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, and care teams to ensure integrated and coordinated care
Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and care planning as needed
Quality, Compliance & Patient Safety

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational policies, including documentation and billing standards
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and accreditation readiness activities
Contribute to the development and growth of rehabilitation services
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or master's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program
Current, unrestricted New York State Physical Therapy license
Experience in an FQHC, community health center, outpatient clinic, or safety-net setting
Experience working with diverse, underserved, or high-risk populations
Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) preferred
Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
May require extended periods of computer use for documentation.
