Part-time Flex Staff Pharmacist

Seeking experienced Retail Pharmacists interested in flexible, as-needed work with a well-supported pharmacy team. This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists looking to supplement their current schedule while maintaining work-life balance.
Position Highlights:
Per diem coverage for call-outs, vacations, and increased prescription volume
Flexible scheduling based on pharmacy needs
Pharmacy operating hours: Monday-Saturday, typically 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM (some locations open until 8:00 PM)
Paid training provided prior to covering shifts
Responsibilities:
Prescription verification and dispensing
Patient counseling and medication education
Immunization administration
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and company standards
Support pharmacy operations in both technician-supported and pharmacist-only locations
Requirements:
Active Pharmacist License required
Minimum 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience required
Immunization certification/privilege required
Current BLS certification required
Experience with QS1 preferred
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
Comfortable covering a variety of retail pharmacy settings
Availability to assist with occasional weekday and Saturday coverage
Additional Information:
Average prescription volume of 100-125 prescriptions per day
Most locations have dedicated technician support
Some locations operate as pharmacist-only sites
Initial 8-hour training shift provided, with additional training available as needed
This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists currently working part-time and looking to pick up additional shifts when available.
