Our mission is to deliver the highest quality professional services while prioritizing our employees' well-being and fostering an exceptional workplace environment.Human Resources GeneralistAs a Human Resources Generalist, you will support day-to-day HR operations with a focus on benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance. You'll work closely with employees, managers, and HR leadership to resolve issues, maintain accurate records, and ensure consistent, positive employee experience across all locations.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and coordinate employee relations matters, including intake, documentation, follow-up, and partnering with the HR Manager on case resolutionAdminister employee benefits including enrollments, qualifying events, and troubleshooting questions with carriersGuide employees and managers through the leave of absence process (FMLA, personal leave, workers' comp coordination with Safety, etc.)Assist with new hire onboarding and ensure timely completion of I-9s, background checks, and required documentationMaintain HRIS accuracy, employee files, and audit-ready recordsProvide policy interpretation and general HR guidance to employees and frontline leadersSupport performance management cycles by tracking deadlines, organizing documentation, and assisting managersPrepare HR metrics and assist with reporting for leadershipPartner with Recruiting, Payroll, and Safety teams to support the full employee lifecycleParticipate in and help coordinate investigations by collecting facts, scheduling interviews, and maintaining case filesAssist with training initiatives and HR projects throughout the yearQualificationsRequired1–3 years of HR experience, with direct hands-on work in benefits administration and employee relationsWorking knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, leaves of absence, and general HR policiesStrong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skillsExperience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretionAbility to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working in HRIS platformsPreferredBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldHR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar)Experience supporting HR in construction, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environmentsFamiliarity with HRIS PlatformsBenefitsFull-time employees enjoy a great benefits package including, but not limited to:Health, Dental, and Vision coverageFlexible Spending Account(s)Generous PTONumerous culture eventsESOP401k matching and more!Generally, roles at Prime Controls may involve moderate noise, occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions, and, depending on the role, work at heights or around airborne particles and electrical components.
