Responsible for the successful completion projects which are broad in nature. The engineer will typically define the project, set the goals, and communicate the project to all affected parties clearly and concisely.Evaluates need, analyzes options, develops plan, develops Appropriation Request (AR) and manages implementation of project until completed within the allotted time frame.Develops, installs and maintains optimum processes for the safe manufacture of quality product in a productive manner.Develops procedures and provides training on new processes, tools and equipment, including but not limited to defining Preventative and Predictive Maintenance requirements and mechanical evaluation of processes and equipment, as needed.Coordinates successful corrections to production problems using sound manufacturing engineering problem-solving techniques and practices. When needed, develops alternate methods or processes to allow emergency continued production.Alternate solutions are evaluated using sound engineering economy techniques.Other Job FunctionsGeneral industrial engineering functions as necessary.Job QualificationsEducation: Bachelor degree in engineering or another related field.
