RN / Perioperative Nursing Job in D

Seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) RN to provide specialized perioperative nursing care in a trauma center environment. The successful candidate will support surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Coordinate and prepare patients for surgical procedures, ensuring all preoperative protocols are followed.
Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during operative tasks with proficiency.
Adhere to infection control standards and AORN guidelines to maintain a sterile environment.
Manage postoperative care, including patient stabilization and recovery protocols.
Document all perioperative activities accurately and thoroughly.
Valid RN license with current licensure.
Proven OR RN experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers.
Familiarity with AORN standards and surgical nursing best practices.
Ability to work flexible scheduling, including weekdays and weekends on call.
Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills.
Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) preferred.
