Wendel is seeking an experienced and talented Healthcare Architect with relevant experience in healthcare programming, planning and design for hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare projects. The appropriately qualified candidate will be part of or responsible for projects that may be out of any one of our Midwest offices. We are seeking someone passionate about design, someone ambitious who is interested in advancing their career and growing in a practice area with dedicated healthcare leaders.

Responsibilities Work directly with clients and internal teams to develop project strategies at all levels of detail including new construction and renovations.

Lead projects through all phases, including design, fit‑out planning, equipment planning, and casework planning.

Assist in proposal and interview phases to help win work.

Actively seek new knowledge in healthcare facilities.

Qualifications Associate degree minimum with BA/BS in architecture or related field preferred.

Licensed Architect is required.

Software proficiency using MS Office, Revit, and others

Comprehensive understanding of model building codes and healthcare guidelines.
