Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible GASTROENTEROLOGIST . Ochsner Health is an integrated healthcare system with more than 36,000 employees and over 4,600 employed and affiliated physicians in over 90 medical specialties and subspecialties. It operates 47 hospitals and more than 370 health and urgent care centers across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Gulf South.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE POSITION:

  • Focus on general gastroenterology
  • Join a highly collegial system - wide group comprised of general gastroenterologists, hepatologists, GI subspecialists, and advanced endoscopists
  • Team of Advanced Practice Professionals assist with consults, outpatient clinics, and patient overflow
  • Integrated practice model with a strong, internal referral network
  • 24/7 reliable hospitalists onsite
  • Strong support from collaborative specialties, including surgery, oncology, radiology, and GI pathology
  • EPIC medical record platform utilized throughout the Ochsner Health
  • Tort reform state

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
