Providing engineering and technical support to operations and identifying potential cost savings
Planning, leading, and/or supporting the implementing of focused improvement events, cycle time reductions, set up reductions and pull systems resulting in scrap reduction
Floor Time - 70% or greater
Engineering (floor support)
Develops equipment specifications, working with suppliers and maintenance
Participates in best practice groups, owns consistency internal and external to the plant
Visible leadership and personal communication
Process improvement (drive CI activities)
Tactical includes spending time on the floor (e.g., Strategic includes budgeting and production planning
Is responsible for deployment of new product planning
Quality
Broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience

Required degree in Engineering, Preferred degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

• Preferred experience using software to analyze data, Power BI, Excel, Minitab, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, or industrial engineering is preferred.
