I\'m hiring for my client, a well-established and growing manufacturing organization, seeking a Senior Director of Accounting and Finance to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, audits, and financial transformation initiatives. This is a highly visible leadership role partnering with executive leadership to ensure financial integrity, operational excellence, and scalable growth.
Lead all accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
Serve as the company\'s technical accounting expert, ensuring GAAP compliance and reporting accuracy
Oversee external audits, tax filings, regulatory compliance, and internal controls
Drive accounting process improvements, automation initiatives, and ERP optimization efforts
Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights, risk analysis, and strategic recommendations
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team
Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Legal, HR, and other business leaders
Strengthen governance, compliance, and financial risk management practices across the organization
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
10+ years of progressive accounting or finance leadership experience
5+ years leading accounting teams and developing people leaders
Strong expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, audits, and internal controls
Experience navigating complex accounting environments and driving process improvements
Proven ability to influence senior leadership and translate financial data into business decisions
ERP implementation, optimization, or transformation experience preferred
CPA and/or MBA preferred
Executive-level visibility and influence
