Position Overview $5,000+ per day including callback* A community hospital in south-central Pennsylvania is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist for a one-week locum tenens assignment providing 24-hour inpatient call coverage.
This opportunity offers the chance to manage a broad spectrum of inpatient and emergency urologic cases while working in a collaborative community hospital environment utilizing Epic EMR. Physicians will provide hospital-based surgical coverage, emergency consultations, and telephone support for affiliated regional facilities.
Providers with strong communication skills and comprehensive general urology experience are encouraged to apply.
Assignment Highlights

• Seven consecutive 24-hour call shifts
• Hospital-based urology coverage
• Active surgical call
• Approximately 10–12 callback hours daily
• Covers Chambersburg Hospital
• Telephone support for Gettysburg, Waynesboro, and Fulton County Medical Center
• Adult and pediatric urology
• Epic EMR
• 76-bed community hospital
• No APP support
• Temporary privileges available
• Pennsylvania license or IMLC Letter of Qualification accepted
• Pay Ranking: Top 10% community Urology call assignment

Job Responsibilities
Provide 24-hour inpatient urology call coverage
Evaluate emergency department consults
Perform urgent and emergent surgical procedures
Round on hospitalized urology patients
Manage inpatient admissions
Perform emergency operative interventions
Coordinate care with emergency medicine and hospitalist teams
Provide telephone consultation to affiliated hospitals
Complete documentation using Epic EMR
