What You'll Do
Provide expert nursing care for ICU patients in a high-acuity setting
Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes
Administer medications, treatments, and special procedures such as TPN, wound care, drains, Foley, and narcotic administration
Maintain detailed patient records using Epic electronic health records system
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Support patient and family education regarding care plans and procedures
Adapt to unit-specific protocols and emergency team assignments when needed
What You Need
Valid ICU-specific RN license for Louisiana
ACLS & BLS certifications required
Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience; LTAC experience preferred but not required
Experience with Epic electronic health records
Ability to work 12-hour daytime shifts and adapt to unit needs
