We're seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher to support middle and high school students in a resource classroom setting. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who is passionate about helping students achieve academic success while collaborating with a strong special education team.
The ideal candidate is comfortable providing direct instruction, managing IEPs, documenting student progress, and partnering with educators and families to support student achievement.
Provide specialized instruction to students receiving special education services
Deliver small-group resource support for middle and high school students
Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
Support student academic growth and independence
Schedule: Full-Time
Contract Length: 10 Months
Grade Levels: Middle School & High School
Medical Support Level: Level 1
Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Special Education Certification

• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Minimum 2 years of Special Education experience in a middle school and/or high school setting
• Experience with IEP development, case management, and progress monitoring

Strong knowledge of middle and high school curriculum

• Consistent school-year schedule
• Supportive school leadership and team environment

Phone Screen with Hiring Team
Round 2: In-Person Interview with School Headmaster
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred
Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations
Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred
State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred
State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred
State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
