Overview Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Neonatologist to its team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, a Level I Trauma Center located in Brooklyn, NY.
Responsibilities Supervise and teach students, residents and sub-specialty residents in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and in the Delivery room.
Make rounds with the staff on the wards and participate in inpatient neonatal consults.
Supervise and participate in all patient care responsibilities.
Supervise all patient care activities in the NICU, as well as the care of all sick newborns in labor and delivery.
Qualifications Board Certified in Pediatrics.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
Active New York State Medical License.
Wages and Benefits Annual Base Salary: $250,000* (board eligible) or $260,000* (board certified) based on a 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $330,520** (board eligible) and $341,520** (board certified), including baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors.
Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
401(k) Company Contribution: Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings, with no employee match required; after one year of service, an additional 7% company contribution is provided, also with no employee match required.
