We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.Pay Range: $15.00-17.00/hrQualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skillsMust be highly organized, efficient and detail orientedMust possess the ability to design, coordinate and maintain landscaping on the golf courseMust possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course maintenanceSkilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching and general ground preparation for restoration and renovationMust be dependableResponsibilities:Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facilityMows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areasWaters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional waterRepairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as necessaryGrades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairwaysTrims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower bedsApplies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf coursePerforms related duties as assigned by supervisor or managerAbout Troon:Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Troon is the world's largest professional club management company, that specializes in services in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.
