Machine Minder (2nd Shift)

Are you a Machine Operator looking for an exciting opportunity to grow and develop professionally? We are looking to hire a Machine Operator to be based in our Orange, Virginia location. We are hiring for second shift (3p-11p) and third shift (11p-7a) . Come join a great team in The Cable Department Center of Excellence and work together to achieve optimal performance.

Operates conventional and CNC production machines such as winders, milling machines, drill presses, broaches, lathes, saws, grinders, welders, etc

as necessary to properly complete the machining operation with the quality required.

Must understand material hardness, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, coolant requirements and machining techniques.

You value quality and have a keen attention to detail.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role.

Familiarity with a variety of CNC machines and controls.

Solid understanding of CNC programming and machining techniques.

Welding knowledge

Experience working in a manufacturing setting.
