Spring Mountain Treatment Center currently seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as a PRN Phlebotomist. Phlebotomists perform venipunctures and other patient specimen collections and has thorough knowledge of testing collection requirements.
Job Duties / Responsibilities Consistently draws blood competently and expediently with as little patient discomfort as possible.
Disposal of blood, body fluid or tissue specimens and spill clean-up materials.

Qualifications Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required
Acceptable phlebotomy training program
Phlebotomy certification required upon hire (Laborary Assistant or Point of Care analyst license may be subsituted for certification)
Previous experience as a Lab Assistant, Phlebotomist, Emergency Room Technician, LPN or Paramedic preferred
reading, writing, and speaking
Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology
New hires are required to attend 1 full week of New Employee Orientation on day shift, normally 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday
Must successfully pass background check (includes criminal history, Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, and ABI/FBI fingerprint check)
