Senior Liability Claims Adjuster (Senior Claims Adjuster)

The Senior Claims Consultant is responsible for managing a caseload of management liability and professional liability claims.

Evaluate complex coverage issues and draft clear, well-supported coverage position letters.

Investigate, negotiate, and resolve claims with moderate supervision from the Chief Claims Officer.

Appoint and manage outside counsel to ensure effective and cost-efficient claim resolution.

Oversee litigation management, including retaining counsel and approving payments within authority limits.

Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in compliance with internal claims handling standards.

Support underwriting by providing insights into risk exposure and claim trends.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in management liability claims handling or litigation, preferably as a coverage or employment attorney.

Strong knowledge of insurance claims processes and the legal/regulatory environment.

Ability to obtain and maintain required adjuster licenses within 90 days.
