Contract | Days/Nights Rotating | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30 / 19:00–7:30)
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct inpatient nursing care to oncology patients in an acute care setting
Administer chemotherapy and related treatments in accordance with established protocols
Support bone marrow transplant (BMT) patients throughout their care continuum
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic EMR
Float to other units or facilities as needed based on staffing requirements and clinical qualifications
Required Qualifications
Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC)
Minimum 2 years of inpatient oncology experience; BMT experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
Prior experience in a teaching hospital setting
