Travel / registered nurse / care nurse

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2 years of experience in General Surgery and Ortho.

Job Details

• Work in the Main OR department of a hospital setting,
• Neuro/Spine specialty with a focus on General Surgery and Ortho cases,
• 24-bed unit with 1:1 patient ratios,
• Uses standard OR equipment,
• Epic EMR system used,
• 5x8-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM,
• Call requirements apply,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (AL or Compact) currently in hand,
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), both AHA-issued,
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in General Surgery and Ortho required,
• Davinci Robot and Max Face experience preferred,

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care for general surgery and orthopedic patients in a comprehensive surgical care hospital,
• Facility recognized for excellence in stroke care, cardiovascular services, and minimally invasive surgical care,
• Navy scrub color required,
• No T-shirts, fleece jackets, hoods, or nail polish permitted,
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered,
