Quality Assurance Specialist

PGI Foods is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our growing Quality Assurance team. In this hands-on role, you'll help ensure every batch of our soups, sauces, and specialty food products meets the highest standards for taste, consistency, safety, and quality before it reaches our customers.

• Perform quality inspections and testing on soups, sauces, and specialty food products before packaging.

Measure product characteristics including consistency, pH, particulate distribution, and other quality standards.
Accurately document quality testing results and maintain production records.
Partner with Quality Assurance, R&D, and Production teams to improve product consistency and manufacturing processes.
Monitor quality trends and report potential issues before they impact production.
Help maintain compliance with food safety and quality programs.
High school diploma or GED required.
Degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or a related field is a plus.
Previous Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience in food manufacturing preferred.
Experience working with soups, sauces, or similar food products is highly preferred.
Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GMPs, or other food safety programs is a plus.
Fluent in English; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
