Water/Wastewater Engineering Designer

BETA Group, Inc is looking for an entry level Drinking Water, Stormwater, and Wastewater Engineering Designer . The ideal candidate will interact with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals in the New England area and will provide leadership and client development specifically in water wastewater engineering, construction management, civil infrastructure design, and permitting. This team of professionals comes together to create innovative planning and design solutions for our public-sector clients’ water treatment, distribution, and storage infrastructure while also providing the same service for their wastewater treatment and collection infrastructure to improve the overall condition and increase reliability of these systems. Projects may include long-term planning programs, condition surveys, asset management programs, design of water distribution systems and wastewater collection systems and the associated treatment facilities and pump stations for each, and construction management and oversight.

Preferred location is BETA’s Norwood, MA office. Candidates should have flexibility to work from our other office locations. BETA also offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing employees to request working remotely up to 2 days per week.

Growth Opportunities:

Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering

Solid understanding of engineering theory and concepts and their application

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Must be able to collect field data and measurements including but not limited to roadway, sidewalk, and utility assets; and perform asset inspections

Must be able to perform field work in both hot and cold weather (rain and/or snow)

EIT (Fundamentals of Engineering)

Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil3D and ArcGIS/Pro experience a plus

OSHA Certifications (ie: OSHA 10-Construction)
