Join our mission to help individuals living with mental illness and addiction lead healthy, productive lives. Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services (GCBHS) is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our integrated behavioral health and primary care services.
This position works Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours per week) in a clinic-based setting. The role supports both our Injection Clinic and Primary Care office , providing direct nursing care to individuals receiving behavioral health services.
Schedule & Work Location Primary Care Office
Clinic-based position (no community visits or client transportation required)
Position Responsibilities Administer Long Acting Injectable (LAI) psychiatric medications
Perform phlebotomy, point-of-care labs, and diagnostic testing
Administer vaccinations and medications
Prepare patients and assist physicians with examinations and treatments
Draw and process laboratory specimens
Support patients in understanding the impact of substance use on medications and health
Collaborate with the care team to promote holistic healthcare
Document medical information including allergies, medical history, and medication interactions
Requirements Active Licensure by the Ohio Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders preferred, but not required
Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training
